When opening any of the financial reports in the administrator, instead of getting a report you get a blank report viewer window.
This is caused by the printer being set incorrectly in the administrator preferences. Possibly to a deleted printer.
- To fix this, open the administrator preferences by clicking on the menu item “Utilities” and then “Preferences” in the menu rollout.
- Now in the preferences click on “Point of Sale” in the menu to your left, and then “Report settings”.
- This must be set to a printer for reports to display correctly. The “Microsoft XPS Document Writer” will also work.
If you entered this window with a deleted printer being set, the first available printer in the system will have been set automatically.
- Now click OK. Reports should now work correctly
