How Rounding Values Works in Smartlaunch Reports

If you have experienced discrepancies in report results, for example in the Transaction List report, there is a reason for it:

• Smartlaunch report only displays Total Amount in 2 decimal digits.
• The exact Total Amount in Smartlaunch database is actually more than 2 decimal digits.
• The Group Total calculation is actually from a sum of the exact Total Amount not the sum of Total Amount’s rounding.

Sample case

If you calculate the Group Total from those values the result should be 13.93 not 13.92. Smartlaunch calculates the Group Total not from 2 decimal digits but from the value before it is rounded.
