Start the Smartlaunch Server

To start the Smartlaunch Server, you can launch it directly from the desktop by double-clicking the orange Smartlaunch icon. Once the server has completed loading, it will appear in the system tray in the lower right corner of your screen.

Unlocking the Smartlaunch Server

To access the server settings, you will need to unlock the server by entering a username and password. The standard username and password is “admin” and “admin”, respectively, but it is recommended to change this to avoid unauthorized access. Once you have unlocked the server, you can access the settings by pressing the “Settings” button. From there, you can configure users, games, and applications, as well as other settings. To shut down the server, unlock it and press the “Close” button, and then confirm that you want to close the server. After the installation and initial setup, you can use the guide provided to help you create everything you need for your center, including license management and personal user files setup.

If this is the first time you try to enter the Smartlaunch Server Settings the standard username and password is admin/admin. We recommend, that you delete/change this account to avoid any unauthorized access to the server.

Shutting Down the Smartlaunch Server

To shut down the Smartlaunch Server, follow these steps:

  1. Unlock the server by entering a valid username and password.
  2. Press the “Close” button.
  3. When prompted, choose “Yes” to confirm that you want to close the server.

If you close the server, any connected clients will continue to run, which can be useful if you need to restart the server during a busy time. Once the server is closed, you can restart it by double-clicking the orange Smartlaunch icon on the desktop. It is important to shut down the server properly to avoid any data loss or corruption.
