Smartlaunch can map a customer’s personal files to a network drive. When a customer logs in a the client the My Documents folder will automatically get redirected to the u: drive. The network mapping is located under Additional Featuresin the Smartlaunch Server Settings.
You can also use %WindowsUserName% as the network mapping user name. Smartlaunch will then use the Windows Account name on the client computer, instead of the same username for all clients.
Please be aware, that Windows XP Home & Windows XP Pro has limitations of 5 and 10 active connections. That means, that if you have 20 computers you can’t use this feature. You need to use Windows 2003 Server with Client-Access-Licenses matching your number of computers.
