2021 Cross-Console FIFA eWorld Cup to Be Held in London

The 2021 FIFA eWorld Cup will be held in London between the 4th and the 8th of August, with a USD 500,000 prize pool. The FIFA eWorld Cup is the most prestigious tournament for any FIFA professional player in the world. The 2021 tournament will feature 32 of the best players from all around the globe, for the opportunity to lift the trophy and a USD 250,000 winners reward.

To compete at the eWorld Cup, players will first have to qualify through a FIFA 21 Global Series Playoff in their region. All regions have separate rankings with several tournaments, through which players can earn points.

The Playoff dates for each region are as follows:

  • Oceania: 15th -16th May
  • East Asia: 5th – 6th June
  • West Asia: 11th – 13th of June
  • North America: 18th – 20th of June
  • South America: 24th – 27th of June
  • Europe (for Xbox players): 2nd – 4th of July
  • Europe (for PS4 players): 9th – 11th of July

The FIFA eWorld Cup will feature a cross-console format to crown the ultimate world champions on both PlayStation and Xbox. For every match-up, one game will be played on Xbox and one game will be played on PlayStation in a two-legged format. The aggregate scores of the knockout matches on both consoles will decide who remains in the tournament via the single elimination bracket.
