Konami has announced a new esports competition, known as the eFootball.Pro Cup, which is set to commence on the 18th of July. The online tournament played within eFootball PES 2020 will see 10 world-renowned teams compete for a share of a sizable EUR 250,000 prize pool.
The Pro Cup kicks off on the 18th of July, and the schedule is as follows:
- Group Stage – Day 1: 18th of July
- Group Stage – Day 2: 24th of July
- Knockout Stage (Semi-Finals & Finals): 31st of July
The 10 teams revealed to be participating are:
- FC Barcelona
- Manchester United FC
- FC Bayern
- Juventus
- Arsenal FC
- Celtic FC
- AS Monaco
- FC Schalke 04
- Boavista FC
- FC Nantes
