Artificial Intelligence and Esports Analysis

A new report from Metaari, one of the biggest analyst firms in the industry, has made predictions regarding the five-year annual growth rate for the global AI-based Learning market.

In their analysis, they describe that products based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) have become the most trending category in the learning market. They have predicted that the five-year annual growth rate for AI will be a hefty 32.8%. According to their predictions, revenues will also more than quadruple to $34.9 billion by 2026.

AI will undoubtedly play a vital role in driving the popularity of esports. The proof lies in the audience numbers. Last year only, avid esports viewers watched around 6.6bn hours of esports content. An estimated 56k live channels were broadcasting content in 2019 as well. Artificial Esports is a booming market with the potential of attracting business owners.

AI can spot flaws in a player’s or team’s strategy, skills or approach that others might miss. When it comes to broadcasting, AI can play a key part in analysing audience behavioural patterns and expectations/needs.

In the first half of 2020, AI-based learning companies announced nearly $8 billion in investment. The majority of investments have gone to small businesses and startups.
