Esports Fashion Group, a newly founded company, is aiming to spotlight diversity in the esports community and introduce a new Esports Fashion Week. The fashion week is intended to serve as a hub for brands to debut new collections when it launches in Q3 of this year.
Esports Fashion Group’s founders have experience across a multitude of sectors and have held positions at firm’s such as Verizon, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Movember.
The group says that their core mission is to “innovate and create value in the world of esports fashion with business incubation, to spotlight the diversity of esports fashion in 2021’s inclusive and dynamic esports landscape, and to invest in talent, community, and platforms that will bring esports fashion to the next level”.
Not only will Esports Fashion Week serve as a platform for upcoming clothing collections, they want it to be a means of attracting endemic and non-endemic companies alike.
Esports Fashion Week aims to bring the traditional concept of a “fashion week” to the world of esports. According to the announcement, this will be done through a seasonal collection of events, with original content being created to support the accompanying brands.
