High School Esports Expands to Oceania

Generation Esports (GenE), is a global community-focused esports organization and tournament platform. They have announced the launch of the High School Esports League (HSEL), in Australia and New Zealand.

The newly launched High School Esports League in Australia and New Zealand (HSELANZ), will engage students through organized competitions and provide academic opportunities. This venture is a large step in globally expanding North America’s largest high school competitive gaming organization.

The HSELANZ Winter Major is a four-week long varsity esports competition, starting on August 24th, 2020. Australian and New Zealand high school esports clubs will compete against their peers in the four renowned online video games: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Fortnite, Clash Royale, and Valorant.

The HSELANZ Winter Major tournament is completely free, and winning teams will have free entry to the Summer Season.
