Riot Games Aims to Make Valorant Esports Scene Global

Riot Games has announced the Ignition Series, which is a series made to build the Valorant esports scene. Valorant is a 5v5 character-based tactical shooter game introduced for the first time this year, by Riot Games.

The games publisher has accumulated partnerships with 20 world-famous esports organizations, to establish the Ignition Series. These tournaments will help the esports organizations involved, to experiment with different tournament formats in order to lay the foundation for competitive Valorant.

The Ignition Series kicks off today with the European G2 Esports Invitational. It is presented by Red Bull and the Rage Valorant Japan Invitational.
