Sport1 Launches eSportsOne in Sweden And Norway

Sport1 has launched eSportsOne in Norway and Sweden after concluding a distribution co-operation with Telenor. Already the channel can be seen in countries such as Belgium, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

This expansion means that esports fans in Sweden and Norway now will have access to eSportsOne’s 24/7 programme of content, comprising over 1,000 live hours per year of international esports events as well as exclusive, self-produced analysis formats.

The content programme for eSportsOne is prepared for its international target group by Sport1’s esports editorial team together with experts and influencers from the English-speaking esports community. All events are broadcast with English commentary, while individual highlights are commented on by the Sport1 esports editorial team and broadcast from its own studio.

Launched in November 2020, eSportsOne has established strong partnerships with ESL, NBA 2K League and Psyonix, allowing viewers to enjoy a multitude of esports leagues with titles including Dota 2, Starcraft 2, Warcraft 3, NBA 2K and Rocket League.

Coming up for eSportsOne is the Rocket League Championship Series North American Regional going on between the 19th and the 21st of March and then its European counterparts will take to the pitch in EU Regional 8 between the 26th and the 28th of March.
