The International 10 Will Be A Fully-Masked, Fully-Vaccinated Event with Limited Ticket Sales

Tickets to join the audience live at the Main Event for The International 2021 in Bucharest, Romania, will go on sale on the 22nd of September, 2021. The International Dota 2 Championship, with the Group Stage, will take place at the National Arena between the 7th and the 10th of October, with the Main Event at the National Arena between the 12th and the 17th of October.

Additionally, an update for the Dota 2 client is going live and will give players access to the new International 2021 Compendium, including 10 free packs of Player Cards and additional content for each team’s Supporters Clubs members.

For players interested in attending the event in Bucharest, Romania, ticket sales will go on sale starting the 22nd of September at 12:00 EEST via theinternational2021.entertix.ro with three separate two-day bundles and a couple of requirements for those interested to attend the event in person. The tickets will be available only for the playoffs stage, which will be played between the 12th and the 17th of October at the National Arena and will be available to purchase as follows:

  • Midweek #1: October 12 and 13: 249 Lei (~ $59)
  • Midweek #2: October 14 and 15: 249 Lei (~ $59)
  • Finals: October 16 and 17:  999 Lei (~ $237)

The arena won’t be filled to full capacity, purchases are limited to five tickets of each ticket bundle per transaction, and it will be a fully-masked, fully-vaccinated event.

This means Valve and its organising partners are requiring every attendee to be at least 10 days past their final vaccination shot. All attendees will need to show proof of vaccination status and a valid ID at a labeled Vaccination Verification tent, which will be located right outside of the will-call ticket station for the arena. You can find a full list of event requirements and health protocols on the official Dota 2 website.
