BBC Enters Broadcast Deal With W Series Esports League

British Broadcasting Corporation BBC, is planning to broadcast the all-female W Series Esports league. Last week, W Series announced that they are abandoning their 2020 eight-race season due to coronavirus, and will resume next year again. Focus has now shifted towards their newly-created esports team, which is about a month old.

BBC is to broadcast their esports league which includes 10 rounds of races, starting today, June 11th. The virtual series will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer and online. All the 18 real-world racers are expected to take part in the e-racing.

This virtual series will also take place in world-known racing tracks, it will start in Monza, Italy, and will conclude at Silverstone, on August 13th.
