British Artist Stormzy to Feature in Esports Game

At Ubisoft’s recent digital press conference, Ubisoft Forward, the company announced that the British music artist Stormzy, will feature in his own mission in the upcoming release of Watch Dogs: Legion.

The game is set in a near-future London that is facing its darkest hour. A government that has been defeated leaves criminal opportunists and cyber-criminals preying on citizens for power. The only hope for liberation in London lies with the secret underground resistance group, Dedsec.

The mission ‘Fall on My Enemies’ in the game, will see Stormzy enrolling in Dedsec to protect the broadcast of his track ‘Rainfall’ in central London. This is where you the player come in, to help Stormzy in this venture.

The press conference gave a first sneak peek into the official music video of ‘Rainfall’, from Stormzy’s no. 1 album ‘Heavy Is The Head’. This song will be featured in-game as part of the mission.  Fans can view the full music video online on October 1st.

The game Watch Dogs: Legion will release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Stadia, Windows PC on Epic Games and Uplay on October 29th 2020.
