The Evolution Championship Series, commonly known as EVO, is the biggest esports event in the world. Held annually in Las Vegas every August, EVO is a video game tournament that allows players of all ages and skill levels to compete.

This year, EVO will take place at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, between the 4th and the 6th of August.

EVO has been around for over 20 years, although it used to go by different names in various locations. The event attracts the best players from around the world.

The tournament features eight games, including Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Melty Blood: Type Lumina, The King of Fighters XV, Dragon Ball Fighterz, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Strive, and Street Fighter 6.

Each game has attracted a significant number of entrants, with Street Fighter 6 having the highest number of participants. The competition is fierce, with a mix of previous EVO champions and new contenders.

The favorites to win vary from game to game, but some notable names include Mena RD, Punk, Nephew, Mister Crimson, Daigo, Xian, Snake Eyez, SonicFox, Fuudo, and more.
