Game Music Festival Kicks off Today

The Game Music Festival this year is held in Poland between 16-17th October. It just kicked off, and this year it is very different as it is being held 100% online. Fans can enjoy the live streaming online for free. You will be able to view all concerts online via the social media channels Youtube and Twitch.

This festival is third edition of Europe’s largest festival fully devoted to the music and sound of the gaming industry. The music that is chosen to be live-streamed originates from famous games such as Baldur’s Hate III (world live premiere), Pyre, Hades, Transistor, Bastion, and Divinity: Original Sin II. The music is performed by orchestras such as the NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra, the Sound Factory Orchestra, and soloists.

Previous years of the Game Music Festival have received much praise from fans and the games audio community. This is a truly unique festival dedicated to the soundtracks of video games, and is a true celebration of esports and gaming. What does gaming music mean to you?
