Gamers Without Borders 2021 Concluded with Winning Prizes Going to Charity

Gamers Without Borders, a charity based esports tournament organised by Saudi Ministry of Sport have just concluded their second season. The 2021 event featured USD 1,5 million in prize pool distributed across eight spots, each team having a chance to decide the choice of NGO they wish to donate.

BIG won the Gamers Without Borders charity tournament, earning USD 600,000. The winning prize will be donated to the International Medical Corps, as the choice of NGO of BIG. The second spot with USD 300,000 earned by FURIA, will be donated to UNICEF.

The format of Gamers Without Borders featured a standard group stage double-elimination best-of-three matches where four teams advanced to the play-offs as BIG, FURIA, ENCE & mousesports as respective standings. NiP, FaZe, collectively shared USD 100,000 each and the 5th-6th spot, where mibr & Dignitas settled with USD 50,000 each and the 7th-8th positions to end the event.

A show-match was a part of the event as well where French roster Vitality played against regional team 01 Esports.
