Heroic has won the BLAST Premier Fall Finals CS:GO tournament, which took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, beating FaZe Clan in the grand final 2-1.
The win sees Heroic take home $200,000 of the $425,000 total prize pool, with FaZe taking home just $85,000 for second place.
The overall quality of action at the BLAST Premier Fall Finals was fantastic, with every single playoff stage match going all the way to three maps. Interestingly both finalists came through group A, with FaZe Clan getting the early upper hand by beating Heroic 2-0 in the winners match of the group after beating OG 2-0 earlier in the competition. Heroic on the other hand had taken down NIP 2-1 in their first match of the competition.
Heroic walked away with the final berth to the BLAST Premier World Final 2022, which will be happening in Abu Dhabi in December. Runner-up FaZe Clan will also have a second chance in getting revenge as they are also qualified for the World Final, via their wins in EPL Season 15 and PGL Major Antwerp. There, Heroic joins seven other teams to see who will win the title of World Champion in Abu Dhabi.
The incredibly close action and top level production has meant that the BLAST Premier Fall Finals has been one of the best CS:GO tournaments of the last few months.
The tournament was also an excellent vehicle for BLAST to introduce their BLAST.tv product to the wider audience.
