Hiber Raises USD 2,2 Million in Funding

Hiberworld is a creative social games platform that lets anyone create, play and share their games. With thousands of games created each week, there’s always something new to play. Hiber has announced the successful completion of financing USD 2,2 million.

This financing was fuelled by the rapid growth in the platform’s audience and large number of games that have been created since its inception.

With these funds, Hiber is planning to accelerate the development of its growing platform, and to make key hires across its product- and technology groups. Hiber has a growing list of new backers, such as Bumble Ventures, SYBO, Konvoy Ventures, and GFR Fund. A recent addition to Hiber’s board of directors is SYBO’s CEO Mathias Gredal Nørvig.

New features requested by users of Hiber have been added recently such as being able to create shooter games, chat with friends, player homeworlds (personal game spaces), multiplay and playgrounds (public play spaces).
