Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection Coming in June

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have revealed that the highly-anticipated Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection is coming to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One consoles (playable on Xbox Series X|S via Backward Compatibility), and Windows PC via Steam.

The collection is set to launch on the 10th of June 2021 and includes three mainline titles; Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge along with all previously released DLC content including the ability to play as multiple characters from the series. The collection, however, will be single-player only as all the online elements have now been removed from this version.

“Ninja Gaiden is one of the most important and monumental titles for the Team Ninja brand, but we haven’t been able to release the series title on current generation platforms, so I am very delighted to be able to release it in this format as a trilogy,” says President of Team Ninja, Yosuke Hayashi. “If you enjoy challenging action games, we hope you will give it a try.”

To celebrate the announcement of the Master Collection, Team Ninja has announced a crossover event for owners of Nioh 2 and Nioh 2 Complete Edition and players can download the “Dragon Ninja” skin to transform into Ryu Hayabusa, the protagonist of Ninja Gaiden games.
