Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. has announced the return, and first details, of the eFootball.League for the 2020/21 season, which kicks off on the 7th of December.
eFootball.League is an esports tournament that welcomes competitors of all skill levels. As with the last season, the series is divided into two divisions: eFootball.Pro (starting on the 12th of December), the elite competition exclusively for professional football clubs, and eFootball.Open (starting on the 7th of December), the amateur tournament open to all players.
The tournament is in a 1v1 format, and even if you don’t intend to make it to the World Finals, the eFootball points sound like a good way to get some neat items. Meanwhile, eFootball.Pro will see the best PES players, selected to join the world’s top football clubs, compete in the popular football esport.
According to Konami, the format had to undergo some changes this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The matches will be available online, with more information available via Konami’s website.
