PGL has announced that ticket sales for the PGL Major Stockholm will be opening from the 22nd of September for fans to purchase. This is after Sweden’s decision to remove restrictions for esports events in the country, along with a full player presence on site, and a full house for indoor arena events.
The tournament will start on the 26th of October and will last until the 7th of November. The playoffs will take place inside Avicii Arena, from the 4th to the 7th of November.
The PGL Stockholm Major will be the first Major in more than 2 years, the first one after the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019. 2020 did have a Major plan for Brazil, ESL One: Rio 2020, but the event could not take place owing to the corona pandemic throughout the year.
The PGL Major Stockholm 2021 will have a prize pool of $2,000,000 – the biggest in CS:GO Major history. More information on the Major event will be shared on PGL’s social media channel soon.
The tickets for the PGL Stockholm Major will go on sale on the 22nd of September, at 10:00 AM CET, and can be bought at the official website of the Avicii Arena here.
