Riot Games has officially unveiled the host countries and cities for the 2022 Valorant Champions Tour second Masters tournament, and also the premier end-of-year Champions event.
For the remainder of this year, the competitive scene will be taking players to Copenhagen, Denmark, for the second Masters tier event between the 10th and the 24th of July, and then to Istanbul, Turkey, for the Champions tier event between the 2nd and the 18th of September.
Both events will aim to have a live audience, a first for Valorant events on the international stage.
The 12 best teams from all over the world will compete at the VCT Masters Copenhagen and have the same regional allocation as Stage 1 Masters. VCT Stage 2 has started around the world as many regions begin their main events on the 13th of May after weeks of qualifying periods.
At Valorant Champions in Turkey, 16 teams will compete for the title of Valorant World Champion. This tournament features 10 teams who qualified based on VCT Circuit points earned through their performance during the regular season and six teams from various Last Chance Qualifier tournaments held in August.
