Team Secret captured the Dota 2 championship of the OMEGA League: Europe Immortal Division with a 3-0 sweep of OG on Sunday.
With this win, Team Secret have now won their last seven tournament appearances without dropping a single game in any of their grand finals matches. They have beaten VP.Prodigy, Natus Vincere, Team Liquid, Alliance, Nigma, and now OG twice to claim that record.
OG worked their way into the grand final with a 2-0 win over Team Nigma in the lower-bracket final earlier Sunday, taking both maps in 36 minutes.
Team Secret jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the grand final, winning the first map in a 53-minute marathon. It got easier from there, with Secret winning the next two maps in 30 and 23 minutes, respectively.
OMEGA League Dota 2: Europe Immortal Division was held online from the 14th of August to the 6th of September, where 12 teams competed for a prize pool of USD 500,000. In addition, it became known that the teams: Alliance, Team Liquid, Nigma, OG and Team Secret were officially confirmed to participate in the Immortal Division of OMEGA League Season 2. More teams will be announced soon. OMEGA League Season 2 will run online from the 28th of October to the 13th of December, 2020.
