TikTok Collaborates with StarLeague for Esports Event

The short-form popular video platform TikTok has 800 million active users worldwide, and has grown massive in only the past few years. The app has now ventured into esports, and partnered with Collegiate StarLeague. Collegiate StarLeague is a college streaming site, where you can link your Twitch account and become one of CSL’s featured college streamers.

Together they have created an esports event called the “TikTok cup”. This event will have a prize pool of 60k USD awarded across four esports titles; Fortnite, Rocket League, CS:GO, and League of Legends. Additional fun prizes will be rewarded to players who submit TikToks for consideration. Registrations for the tournament have already opened up.

The TikTok Cup video contest will go live 12:00 am ET (Eastern Time), on April 28th.
