CS:GO Hits Over 1 Million Peak Players Again in April

According to data from Steam Charts, CS:GO has registered over 1,000,000 peak players in the month of April 2022. The last time the title witnessed over a million peak players was in May 2021, when the competitive shooter saw 1,087,197 players tuning into the game simultaneously.

Currently, CS:GO stands proud at the top of the Steam Charts in terms of player base, and boasts an average player count of about 600,000 while its peak player count lies towards north of the 1 million mark.

The news comes only weeks ahead of the upcoming PGL Major Antwerp 2022. The upcoming Major that’ll take place in Antwerp, Belgium, is almost certain to draw in more players from throughout the world, and boost the title’s player count even further.

The PGL Antwerp Major 2022 kicks off on the 9th of May and will continue until the 22nd of May.
