The planned return of DreamHack Anaheim has been cancelled, according to a statement released by DreamHack. The event was slated to be held between the 11th and the 13th of February, 2022, following a cancellation in 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The decision to cancel the event came from “increased difficulties in hosting the festival in a qualitative way.”
The cancellation comes just days after DreamHack Day, where the entire 2022 schedule was unveiled. They are now shifting their focus to delivering the next events in the calendar, DreamHack Dallas and DreamHack Summer in June.
DreamHack will make its debut in Melbourne, Australia, and will host its first-ever festival in Madrid, Spain.

- June 17 to 20, 2022 – DreamHack Summer, Jönköping, Sweden
- July 1 to 3, 2022 – DreamHack Valencia, Spain

- Oct. 15 to 17, 2022 – DreamHack Rotterdam, Netherlands
- Oct. 29 to 31 2022 – DreamHack Hyderabad, India
- Nov. 18 to 20, 2022 – DreamHack Atlanta, Georgia, USA
- Nov. 26 to 28, 2022 – DreamHack Winter, Jönköping, Sweden
- Dec. 9 to 11, 2022 – DreamHack Madrid, Spain
2022 Festival Highlights:

- DreamHack Melbourne will include ESL Challenger (CS:GO), League of Legends Circuit Oceania Finals, and Halo: HCS Regional ANZ
- DreamHack Rotterdam will include ESL Challenger (CS:GO)
- DreamHack Atlanta will feature and Fighting Games Championship
- DreamHack Summer and DreamHack Winter will feature ESL Pro League Conference (CS:GO).
