The International 10 Set to Begin

The International 10 is once again a record-breaking esports tournament with its $40,018,195 total prize pool, about 5,5M dollars more than the previous edition, held in 2019.

On the 17th of October, 2021, at the end of the TI10 grand finals, the winning team will secure 45% of the total prize pool, which this year nets $18,208,300 while the runner up team will head home with $5,202,400.

Due to increase in the Covid rates in Romania and new local restrictions in Bucharest, Valve has taken the decision to go ahead with TI10 without crowds. Valve has cancelled in-person audience attendance for The International 10 and will now only allow teams, talent, and essential staff to be present during the event.

As always, the event will be divided into three stages: the group stage, followed by the main stage, and the grand finals. They will happen on the following dates:

  • Group Stage: October 7 – 10
  • Main Stage: October 12 – 16
  • Grand Finals: October 17
