Valorant Viewership Is Skyrocketing

The Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) has seen exponential viewership growth since its inception. Masters Berlin marks the latest major event in the VCT, and similar to its preceding event brought significant viewership numbers. Recent data shows that Masters Berlin averaged 390,000 viewers and peaked at 811,000 at the game between Sentinels and G2 Esports.

Sentinels and G2 Esports brought incredible viewership numbers to the event. Out of the five most viewed games at the event, Sentinels and/or G2 made up three. The two teams shared a spot in Group D and their two match-ups made up the top two viewed games. Game one saw their peak viewership listed above, while game two brought in approximately the same numbers at 808,000 viewers.

The Grand Finals match-up saw an unexpected series between Gambit Esports and Team Envy, with Gambit becoming the winners. The finals saw a slight viewership dip at 692,486, though contributed to the overall impressive numbers.

The highest viewership for an international Valorant series still belongs to Sentinels versus Fnatic, back when the two teams faced off at VCT Masters Reykjavík in May. The series hit a peak of just over one million viewers, with the tournament racking up an average viewership of 488,000 people, according to Esports Charts.
